As a liquid commodity, wine is a staple on today's bustling retail shelves; indeed, the very first thing to catch a shopper's eye is often its outer packaging-the wine box. Wine packaging plays a pivotal role in the sales of alcoholic beverages. In particular, its functions-such as attracting consumers, enhancing product added value, satisfying consumers' psychological and emotional needs, and reinforcing brand and corporate identity-are becoming increasingly recognized. Currently, regarding the selection of packaging materials for wine boxes, paper-based containers (such as folding cartons and paper tubes) continue to hold the dominant position. While the use of leather, wood, plastic, and metal materials has increased compared to the past, natural materials-such as bamboo, wicker, and straw-remain relatively underutilized.
